TURN AROUND...DON'T DROWN!
The title of today’s blog is part of the warning issued by the national weather service for our area today! It has been raining here since Thursday (maybe Wednesday...but definitely Thursday), living so close to the major river that runs through PA leads to lots and lots of flooding when the weather goes crazy. Back in 1972 during a hurricane most of the central PA area was under water, a lot of water.
The grossest part of all of this rain and flooding is that our water has been affected. It smells very earthy...and it looks even worse. I showered in the nasty waster today and it made me skin feel dirty...I don't even want to imagine what it did to my hair! ;-)
Anyway, it is raining again now, as I type...no surprise there. It is to continue raining until tomorrow sometime.
So in the words of the national weather service, 'turn around...don't drown', which by the way I don't understand!? I can only guess they are saying not to go into deep water...but who knows?!

perhaps they were trying to warn you be careful while doing the Hokey Pokey outside?
" ... you do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around ... "
...or to be careful while you're singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" outside...
Thank you both for getting the songs stuck in my head:
I put my right hand in,
I put my right hand out,
I give my right hand a shake,
And I turn it all about.
I do the Hokey Pokey and I
Turn around, every now and then I get a
little bit lonely and you're never coming around
Enjoy :)!
You guys all suck for getting both the songs stuck in my head!!! I think its a warning from stupid people for stupid people!
i agree with kriss, you guys suck for getting those songs stuck in my head! ;-)
