People irritate me.

I came into work this morning not feeling too great, I think I am getting the flu or something, tired, achy, sore throat, that kind of feeling, first thing I do each morning is go through my emails. Working part time is great, except for the large number of emails that fill up my inbox after I leave each day.

In my inbox there were three emails from a co-worker, they of course weren't just emails, they were meeting invites. I don't really care so much about having meetings, but it bothers me when they are scheduled for stupid times...

Let me back up for a second, next week is the week of Thanksgiving, a week when almost everyone in the office takes off. The rest of us left in the office take advantage of this by slacking off and leaving early. So here I am now scheduled for meetings for 2 hours up until the time I have to leave for the day. Who does this!? Who actually cares about working during a holiday week?! This is why people irritate me!

Since I am leaving and just generally don't give a shit anymore...I sent her an email stating that the meetings won't work for me. Instead of corresponding with me via email, she shows up at my desk to question me about it...it took me so off guard all I could say was that the time just didn't work. She looked confused (but that really might just be her natural look)...whatever, she finally left my desk...

I hate meetings, I hate pointless meetings (which I knew these would be), and I hate meetings scheduled on or around lunch time and at the end of the day! Especially the day before Thanksgiving...
Oh and my boss is out all next week, seriously I plan on doing a lot of NOTHING! She tried to take that fun away from me...damn her and her work ethic!

I have two words for you :
short timer

or is that one word with a hyphen?
short-timer

or a compound word?
shorttimer

any way, the point is that you're out of there soon - so just turn that frown upside down!
